Introduction:
This is an example of a boost converter circuit. The output voltage of the converter is 42V whereas the input voltage is 22V. The circuit operates in a continuous current mode (CCM) with closed loop control. The impact of components parameter variation on the output voltage can be analyzed by running a Monte Carlo analysis.
Circuit Snapshot:
Refer to the attached snapshot "boost_converter_42V.png".
How To Use:
Download the attached design folder "Boost converter 42V.zip".Extract the files to any location on your PC.Invoke SaberRD.Navigate to the directory where the unzipped file is available.Open the file that has the extension, ".ai_dsn".Perform the analysis as per the settings given in the Quick Analysis box inside the schematic and plot the signals listed to understand the behavior of the design.
For more information, please refer to README.txt available in the design folder.
Note:
This example works only in SaberRD Commercial Edition.
